With This First Post Comes My Blogging Revolution
Posted on December 7, 2010
You have no idea how hard it has been for me to decide what to write in this – my first ever post on my first ever real blog…
…Well I lie, for I have ventured into the world of Mr. Wiki, and more recently Mrs. Tumblr. I considered Dr. eBlogger, but decided to go with my gut – and the advice of my esteemed blogging English Teacher – and go with the creme de la creme of the blogging world, and get myself a WordPress (that’s Sir. WordPress to you, mate!).
I have never been one for keeping a diary, so I will apologise in advance for my soon-to-be discovered inept ability at keeping my blog updated. However, it is now the 7th of December 2010 – the New Year is in sight, and with it comes the annual New Year’s Resolutions, with them the minute possibility that I shall stick to anything I commit to in my drunken slumber (I joke, I joke) the night before my pledge applies. That said, anyone can change. Or can they? (Woo, look at me trying to sound ‘deep’!).
Trying not to go into too much detail – for fear of spoiling the surprise of what could come – I will just try and summarise what it is exactly that I am here to achieve. Well, to express myself for one… I am very opinionated, but also open minded. I find that in discussing my beliefs and opinions I often broaden them and open my mind to new ideas previously unthought of. I also hope to question and challenge whoever does me the honour of reading my blog with their own ideas, opinions and morals etc. Hopefully my love of thinking about age old questions, whilst challenging and confronting the world in which we live will be interesting to read from another persons point of view. I am also in love with many things, which I will talk about in future posts.
Anyway, off I go to watch Bruce Springsteen gracing the world with his awesome presence on the television. I love that man very much, and he is arguably my greatest source of inspiration, love, release, and support in life.
Thank you for reading this, and whilst I bid you adieu I do so in the hope that we shall meet again!
